Riverside Park's 20-year-old playground is ready for a transformation!
Friends of Jacksonville Playgrounds is working to create an exciting new destination playground that will inspire children to climb, explore, imagine and play—while bringing more families and energy to Riverside Park and Five Points.

The proposed design features a spectacular 12-foot-tall wooden snowy egret perched atop a 6-foot play mound, along with a whimsical bird-themed play area for younger children inspired by the park's historic duck pond.
The City of Jacksonville has committed $400,000 toward the playground renovation, with an additional $200,000 committed through public and private support. Now we need the community's help to raise the final $150,000 to bring this one-of-a-kind playground to life.
Since 2015, Friends of Jacksonville Playgrounds has helped enhance nine playgrounds across Jacksonville, making public park investments go further through private donations.
Great playgrounds build strong neighborhoods. They get kids outdoors, bring families together and help local businesses thrive.
Every donation, large or small, brings us closer to creating a playground that will delight children and families for generations to come.
Help us bring the WOW to Riverside Park!
