On Jacksonville's westside, this 25 year-old playground has been completing renovated with a $220K donation from Friends of Jax Playgrounds. New photos coming soon!

This toddler playground was orignally built at a memorial for Charlie Cosby in 2005. But after more than 20 years of play it was ready for renovation. A direct grant to the City of Jacksonville was made to bring this small neighborhood playground back to life.

Located at 1050 Franklin St, Jacksonville, FL 32206 Flossie Brunson's playground in underserved East Jacksonville received a complete renovation as part of Lift Jax and a sizable grant from Friends of Jacksonville Playgrounds. Check it out!

Located at 1199 Church St W, Jacksonville, FL 32204 Florida C. Dwight Memorial Playground is located in the La Villa section in downtown Jacksonville and is adjacent to Groundwork Jacksonville's Emerald Trail.

Located at 11100 General Avenue Jacksonville FL 32220, this playground has the double duty of serving the community AND the playground for the children at Whitehouse Elementary School.
The previous playground cried for help and more imaginative play that keeps children coming back. Thank you to contributors who helped us raise funds for this project!

Located at 7689 Price Ln, Jacksonville, FL 32209, this large space receives overflow from Woodland Acres Elementary School and the surrounding community. The equipment was tired and in need of challenging, stimulating play for children of all ages. Now it's chock full of stimulating play for kids of all ages!

This playground renovation created Jacksonville's FIRST fully-accessible and all inclusive playground for people with limited mobility!
Located at 2775 Huffman Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32246, this is the perfect example of a public/private partnership that benefits so many. With a matching grant The Delores Barr Weaver Fund, and donations to Henry's Heroes, CSX and Friends of Jacksonville Playgrounds. Come enjoy this fantastic destination playground.

Located at 6549 Arlington Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211, this playground space serves a large surrounding community, the play equipment was really only appropriate for young children. We worked with the City of Jacksonville to bring children coming back for more fun and challenge play.

Located at 7689 Price Ln, Jacksonville, FL 32209, this 125 acre park is a jewel of northwest Jacksonville. The playground portion has been well loved by school groups, church groups and families from all over. It now shows its 25+ years of age and was in desperate need renovation and ADA compliance.
We worked with District 10 City Councilman and the Parks and Recreation Department to overhaul and re-energize this beautiful, shaded area with innovative play!

Located at 3939 Grant Road, Jacksonville, FL 32207, this playground was weather beaten and in need of a renovation. The new space now includes climbing, spinning, and swinging while maintaining a small neighborhood footprint.
This is a joint project with the City of Jacksonville, private donors and Friends of Jacksonville Playgrounds.

Located at 3725 St. Johns Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32205, this playground was the launch pad for our non-profit.
With the help of incredibly generous donors including a gift from the Delores Barr Weaver Fund, we raised $90,000 in donations. This was added to budgeted funds from Parks & Recreation and district funds from City Councilman Jim Love.
Today, this re-engergized area brings families together for play and fitness.
