Previously, Kim served as public relations director for Atlanta-based Shepherd Center, the country's largest spinal cord and brain injury rehabilitation hospital. She also served as public relations coordinator for Sawyer Riley Compton, Atlanta, an advertising and public relations agency.
Kim graduated from the College of Charleston in S.C., with a bachelor’s in business and minor in marketing. She lives in Jacksonville, FL with her husband and two daughters.
A passionate community advocate and volunteer, Pamela Telis served for 32 years as a surface-water hydrologist and engineer with the US Geological Survey, including work on restoration of the Everglades National Park.

In 1992, Pamela founded and incorporated the Carson City Literacy Volunteers, a nonprofit to teach adults to read. She has also served on the Riverside Avondale Preservation Board, and on the founding committee of the Riverside Arts Market.
In 2013, she founded and incorporated the Friends of Boone Park South to advocate for the 94 year-old city park.
Most recently, Pamela joined the Riverside Avondale Preservation (RAP) ReLeaf committee to plant trees and restore the forest canopy in the historic Jacksonville district.
